" Creativity is the future of work, and in our lifetime we will see a major shift in the importance of creativity in the workplace. As concerned parents, what can and should we be doing to empower our children to embrace their creativity? What are some habits that can cultivate a child’s curiosity?"

Shake! Tilt! Turn! Get your children moving in this amazingly fun storytelling session with Colombian picture book author Claudia Rueda. A 2016 Hans Christian Andersen award nominee, she will need your help to get Bunny safely home.
This session is suitable for ages 4 and up and is made possible with the assistance of the Embassy of Colombia.

What was it like living in Chinatown in the 1940s? In his debut children’s book Grandfather’s Little Room, architect and author Francis Wong Hooe Wai takes you back in time to his grandparents’ living quarters that were shared with carpenters, samsui women and many, many families. Enjoy the story and join in the fun solving riddles, folding origami and singing nursery rhymes from old Chinatown.
This session is in English and Chinese and is suitable for ages 4 to 8.
