Hello hello! I think a lot of people clicked follow cos of the MTLS so hi!
This also sounds very meaningful! If my husband and I read to our children for 15 minutes and my SIL plus BIL do the same does that mean we can hit 10 people quota?
Anyway read fest is going out with a bang on 29 July! Once again all the good stuff is happening at the ends of Sg – Tampines and Westgate.
THEY ARE GIVING AWAY BOOKS PEOPLE.
Just google Big Book Giveaway.
I would go, except the Husband will kill me for adding more books in the house. 😔😔😔
But nevermind, I shall just depend on my friends' generosity hahaha.
Last night was filled with drama. I was revising maths with no1 and facetiming the Husband when my MIL started shouting "鸟在流血!"
The Husband immediately became a kancheong spider and ordered me to go over and check the bird out. I snapped this picture and it wasn't clear enough for him…
So we did a close up with torch and flashlight on.
SO POOR THING 😱😭😱😭
It got pecked on the head and the wound was so fresh and red.
We shifted it to another box and then…
Applied yunnan baiyao on its head 😂😂😂
Poor Sleepy. He's the last to be hatched amongst the 3 and he's a bit slower than the other 2. He probably went to disturb the female and her eggs and got pecked? Sigh.
Sleepy's current home. The little red patch is blood 😢
These children are so heartbreaking too!
Googled a recipe
2 cups flour
1/2 cup salt
2 Tb cream of tartar
2 Tb oil
1 1/2cups boiling water
Next time I will use fine salt cos my dough was a little too grainy.
Probably should have poured the water and oil in slowly instead of dumping it one shot.
Use food processor to knead will prob be more even
Food coloring stains big time wear plastic gloves
Maybe add more oil cos my dough is still sticky and not as smooth as my friends thermomix recipe…
Time for bed! Just wanted to record that I'm very thankful the Just Grab today was a taxi. I was worried that they would reject me cos I had 2 adults and 3 children. I think because it was a cab the driver could take all of us and not complain we were too many.
And I didn't have to feel guilty about child seats! It was a nice way to end the evening.
I really should just drive The Husband's car when he's not around…so wimpy sigh.
