Everyone was happy during the school run today! Definitely a recordable moment…no tears, tantrums or raised voices! Yay!

French yoghurt cake! I first read about it in "Bringing Up Bebe" which is about raising children in France. This is a recipe easy enough for children to follow and in the book I think the mom let her 4 year old mix it by herself. The beauty of this cake is that you use the yoghurt cup to measure everything…so you only need a bowl and a spoon for this recipe. Perfect for those who have limited equipment in the kitchen!

I used this version http://www.montessoriworksblog.com/2013/06/12/fathers-day-french-yogurt-cake/

1 cup yoghurt (125ml)
3 cups flour
1.5 cups sugar
1 cup oil
2 eggs
1.5 tsp baking powder
0.5 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla essence

1. Mix all the ingredients together (if you want your cake to be extra smooth you can sift the flour but it's fine!)

2. Pour into a baking pan and bake for 30-45 min at 180c. It's done when a toothpick inserted at the centre comes out clean!

That's it!

"They are back and they are still ugly" haha! This advert for the deformed veggie is so cute! It's basically intermarche's way of reducing food waste by convincing people that deformed veg is just as good as the standard ones. And they're cheaper!

Shall go check it out when it's not so rainy and super pooper is in a good mood!
